The garment: A red polyester & cotton blend “duck down” insulated coat with round black plastic snap trim. The care label reads, “Dry Clean Only” with corresponding International Cleanability Code Symbols to support the wording.
The problem: After dry cleaning some of the black snaps are beginning to dissolve and stain areas of the fabric. The snaps are now distorted and damaged and the coat has black plastic stains in many places.
